Stratas implemented an Accounts Payable automation solution for The Range that has helped the company save time and improve accuracy.
We caught up with Robert Newell, Assistant Finance Manager at The Range, and asked him to elaborate on the benefits that The Range has realised from working with Stratas.
Why did The Range decide to automate Accounts Payable?
“We were looking to reduce the time taken to process invoices and obtain approval from the large number of managers throughout the business. We also wanted to improve the accuracy of the entries to our accounts system.”

“Of the various AP solutions we looked at, the one shown to us by Stratas appeared to have the best functionality whilst also being very user-friendly.”
How was the implementation of AP automation for The Range?
“The implementation went very well. Some of our systems, along with our organisational structure, meant that implementation was not straightforward. Stratas was extremely helpful in communicating our requirements to the developers to adapt the AP solution to our needs where possible.”
What are the main benefits you have seen from the deployment of AP automation?
“There have been time savings throughout the business and the system has helped work towards becoming completely paperless. The data capture software and automated approval reminders allows our accounts team to spend more time reviewing transactions rather than processing them.”
